U.S. Expected to Become World’s Largest Oil Producer by 2023

The Wall Street Journal is reporting on research from the International Energy Agency (IEA) that expects the United States to become the world’s largest producer of oil by 2023. With production expected to rise, exports are projected to increase and pricing to become less volatile. U.S. oil production has almost doubled from ten years ago, to 3.4 million barrels per year.
